Granted my Spanish isn't that great, but over the limited menu at Perro Salado, I couldn't find any type of Dog Salads I was so eager to try. What I did find was really cool atmosphere (Think of Desperado with a New England twist) paired with a fantastic Tequila selection. I recommend taste testing a flight of different Patron's with any of their decent appetizers.
Unfortunately, I was a little let down with the entrée's. It's a little more gourmet then your traditional Spanish/Mexican fair which ups the price of everything. To be honest, despite their creativity with the food I would rather eat my main course at Loca. Now that I think about it, if Dog Salad and Loca joined forces Newport might finally have the solution to all the average Mexican food joints around.
